Petalyx

The capture layer — a patent-pending process and registered design, and a trademark of Cognitif Group Limited.

How it captures

A rapid word-association task.

  • For each prompt word, users choose from five response candidates arranged radially, or select ‘None of the Above’.
  • Both the chosen response and all non-chosen options are treated as structurally informative.
  • Response time is captured and normalised against individual motor speed, within-session fatigue, time-of-day variation, and demographic baseline.
  • Individual session data is destroyed on the user's device before any transmission — only aggregate coordinate values are captured.
The Petalyx capture layout: a central prompt word surrounded by five response candidates and a None of the Above option
One prompt word, five candidates, and a ‘None of the Above’ escape — every selection and rejection is informative.

Every Petalyx™ session resolves onto the sentiment chart itself — Semantic Bathymetry™ is where the picture takes shape.
